Jazz Essentials offers
drum loops for traditional jazz. The royalty-free
collection features more than 400 loops in authentic
jazz phrasing from a cool and relaxed 100 bpm
to a blistering bop at 325 bpm. This sample collection
is all about traditional jazz feels and phrasings,
a truly focused set of grooves for discriminating
jazz purists everywhere.

as well as the warmth of vintage drums and cymbals

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got
that swing! Nothing truer could be said.
When we decided to do a jazz CD, we were
puzzled why so few true jazz sample CD's
existed. So many of the current releases
are "somewhat" jazz or "jazzy,"
choosing to mix-in other styles (Latin,
Afro-Cuban, etc.) alongside what we consider
traditional jazz. Perhaps it was to pad
the disc with unrelated grooves or perhaps
a statement that there is no real market
for traditional jazz - we honestly couldn't
explain it. Regardless of the reasons,
we decided to do a true jazz sample CD
and one that is ONLY jazz. From every
roll and nuance on the disc comes the
purity and beauty of that truly unique
sound of jazz. A
disc we hope jazz purists (or anyone else
looking for some of that swinging magic)
